On day two you will begin your journey around the country. Your first stop will be at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Elephant Orphanage was established by the Sri Lankan Department of Wildlife Conservation in 1975 for feeding and providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild. The best time to visit the orphanage is during feeding time which is at 9.15 am and 1.15 pm when you can whiteness the feeding on the baby elephants and thereafter accompanies them to their daily bath to the nearby river.

Upon arrival in Kandy check in at the hotel. Late evening visit the Temple Of The Tooth Relic followed by a cultural show.

Kandy and its satellite villages are the center of the islands handicrafts industry (items of wood, brass & silver) exquisite silver or gold jewelry and precious gems of many varieties including the world’s best blue and star sapphires.
